Core JKD Knife Stab and Grab Defense

Core JKD Advanced Knife Defense training against the stab and grab tactic used by knife-wielding assailants.

As with our other knife defense training series, we establish a fundamentally unique method of training to defend against the physical and mental attack a threat of this type can inflict.

We do not teach patterned drills that focus on gaining control of the knife hand, when in reality this hand is driven on rapidly changing lines of attack that the typical knife training drills simply cannot train you to track with great success. Combine this with the attacker's control of your shirt or other clothing to throw off your balance, and you have a situation that it took Core JKD to devise a defense against.
